Pixel Interconnect offers equipment, training and documentation for the assembly of Flat Panel Displays (FPD). All of our equipment and processes come with complete documentation and on-site training.

The FPD (flat panel display) assembly process involves:

Incoming test

Laminating the polarizer

Bond Interconnect Driver (COG, TAB, Heat Seal, Flex, COF) to FPD

Flat Panel Display Services

LCD Repair, PDP Repair, and LCD Ruggedization Equipment and Processes

Pixel Interconnect offers equipment, training, and documentation for flat panel display repair and ruggedization. In a typical repair operation, a flat panel display will first be tested to diagnose the issue that is causing the flat panel display to need repair. You then repair the LCD or PDP which may include polarizer film replacement, tab replacement, backlight assembly replacement or individual pixel repair. All flat panel displays are tested after the repair has been completed to assure that only flat panel displays that are working within specification are returned to the client.

In addition, we can supply designs and first articles on mechanical housings, AR glass, heater glass and all necessary components for flat panel displays. We can design the appropriate ESS (environmental stress screening) tests for your product’s performance assurance.

Flat Panel Display Contract Services

Through our partners, we offer contract assembly and repair services for all types of LCDs and flat panel displays including avionics, medical, laptop and flat panel displays. We can assist with all or part of the assembly process and/or repair services for flat panel displays.
