Introduction Pixel Interconnect offers LCD ruggedization lines that are the most popular in the world. Our equipment and processes are used by over half of the worlds ruggedization houses and are also the most common equipment found in Avionic LCD Repair lines. We set up ruggedization lines which use three different ruggedization processes: epoxy, silicone, and air gap.
Description The client required an LCD Ruggedization Line that would handle his 12.1” LCDs but could also be used for LCDs up to 20”. The ruggedized products needed to pass extreme vibration, temperature and humidity tests. Pixel provided a line configured for the epoxy process which produced ruggedized LCDs that pass extreme US military environmental tests required of it and allowed the client to meet his profit margin expectations.
